Britney Spears Dumps Federline Via Text Message

New York, NY - Britney Spears has finally dumped her husband Kevin Federline and is now re-launching her music career.

After two years of stressed marriage, Federline, 28, went from K-Fed to Fed-Ex on Tuesday when Spears filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing "irreconcilable differences."

The bouncy singer has reportedly stepped back into the studio to record new tracks for her first studio album. She begun recording in Manhattan and will continue to perfect her tracks in Miami over the weekend.

And while Britney's life and career seems to be on the right track once again, her estranged hubby K-Fed's life, is another story.

Not only was his debut album, "Playing With Fire" ruthlessly maligned, but two of his gigs in Cleveland and Atlantic City have also been cancelled due to extremely poor ticket sales.
