OJ Simpson and Fox Televison: Two Losers From Hell
November 15th, 2006
Los Angeles, CA - In a teaming of two losers, OJ Simpson and Fox Televison have made two 1-hour Fox television network "specials" on Nov. 27 and 29, followed by the Nov. 30 release of his book "If I Did It."
In what will be the sleaziest - and strangest - documentary in the history of television, O.J. Simpson will hypothetically explain how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes.
Critics are not too excited by the idea. "Tasteless and utterly unnecessary," Phil Rosenthal says in Chicago Tribune.
The AP quotes a statement by FOX as saying, "O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes."
"In the two-part event, Simpson describes how he would have carried out the murders he has vehemently denied committing for over a decade."
Simpson was acquitted of criminal charges for killing his ex-wife and her friend. A civil court, and the world, found him responsible for the deaths and ordered him to pay $33.5 million in restitution to the families.
