Mike Tyson Arrested For Drugs

Scottsdale, Arizona - Ex-heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has been arrested on drug and DUI charges outside an Arizona nightclub.

The former boxing champion is accused of driving while intoxicated and possession of drugs.

When police searched the car he was driving they found cocaine inside.

Tyson was busted at around 1:45 a.m. Friday morning after police saw him pull out of a driveway without noting oncoming traffic.

Police say he almost hit a parked sheriff's car.

"He showed signs of impairment and voluntarily submitted to field sobriety tests," said a member of the Scottsdale, Arizona, police department.

The arrest came as part as a holiday DUI task force.

Tyson will stay in jail until he faces a judge today who will then set bail.
