Wolf in Juneau, Alaska snatches dog and disappears

Juneau, Alaska - A black wolf, which may be one locally known as "Romeo", grabbed a small dog Tuesday morning at Mendenhall Lake and disappeared into the woods.

A black wolf, which may be one locally known as Romeo, grabbed a small dog Tuesday morning at Mendenhall Lake and disappeared into the woods.

Around 10:30am a woman was walking three dogs on the south side of the lake when a black wolf bolted out of the woods and grabbed the unleashed dog.

The wolf then ran back into the woods with the dog in it's mouth.

A search team went looking for the dog but it was still missing at sundown.
